Update on Student Achievements: Carnal ’15 and Li ’15

Mary Carnal ’15 and her synchronized skating team, St. Louis Synergy Novice placed fourth out of the top 12 teams in the country in early March at the USFS Synchronized Skating Championships in Plymouth, MI. Skating to a montage of Italian music, their score was a season best. For this accomplishment, her team received the USFS pewter medal, as well as national recognition in figure skating. Mary also skates for the Synergy Junior team, which placed seventh in one of the toughest divisions in synchronized skating.

John Li ’15, a violinist, has qualified for the finals of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition and will perform on The Fabulous Fox on April 12. The competition at The Fox is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. In the spirit of fostering the emerging talent in the St. Louis performing arts community, the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation is proud to produce and present the 3rd Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition, an adjudicated event showcasing the splendidly talented teens of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Students will compete for college scholarships, prizes and public appearance opportunities.
