Upper School Students Volunteer at Governor’s Mansion

Governor and First Lady Greitens invited Katie Flemming ’19, Layth Hamed ’19, LaBrill Collins ’19 and Bryce Berry ’19 to be VIP event volunteers at the Governor’s Mansion on Saturday, October 14 in Jefferson City. The exciting event, “Fall into History”, was attended by more than 1,000 foster children and their families. The students helped with many of the activities, including face painting, lawn games, sack races, kettle corn, apple cider presses, caramel apples, pumpkin tic tac toe and much more. Katie, Layth, LaBrill and Bryce were invited back by the governor’s team to assist at the Mansion for the Candlelight Holiday Tour in December.
