Upper Schoolers Go Clubbing – Club Fest ’23

Interested in exploring French culture? What about exploring the cosmos, making movies, building robots, creating the yearbook, or volunteering in St. Louis?

Those opportunities and so many more were offered to MICDS students last Friday during the Upper School’s annual Club Fest. More than 60 organizations were available to sign up. Music, food, and games gave the event a festival-like atmosphere as students walked from table to table “shopping” for the clubs and activities that sparked their interests.

A faculty sponsor is part of each club, but all duties involved in running the organization are performed by the club organizers and participants. To start a club students must acquire support from a faculty sponsor and submit a formal application. Applications are reviewed and voted on by the Activities Committee after considering its goals, the strengths of the club, and the benefits it provides the MICDS community.

Great job, Rams!
