Under Construction

MICDS is proud to have 100 acres of intentional learning space for our Junior Kindergarteners through 12th graders. As students grow, so, too, does our campus as it strives to offer the best educational landscape for our Rams. This growth results in renovations and improvements that all play a role in helping our students thrive.

As you look around our school, you can’t help but notice the construction projects underway, many of which are expected to be completed before the start of the 2026-27 school year. Currently, we are excited about the renovation of our Lower School campus, varsity baseball and field hockey improvements, the addition of a pitching and putting green, and the recent completion of our new state-of-the-art tennis center. Check out each of these campus transformations below!

Lower School

Beasley Lower School Renovation

The Beasley Lower School is currently being renovated and expanded. These changes will bring about a beautiful and vibrant Lower School entrance, a new welcome and waiting area, a reimagined Lower School dining pavilion, a renovated library and a new learning commons, and a transformed Junior Kindergarten facility. baseball

Baseball: Baur Field

As you can see, our varsity baseball field is currently undergoing a flurry of construction activity. It may be hard to tell right now, but exciting improvements are in store and are expected to be completed by the spring 2026 baseball season. The project scope includes infield turf, sunken dugouts, a team room, improved spectator seating, and a canopy centered on home plate.

field hockey

Field Hockey: Thomas Field

Field hockey players are already enjoying brand new bench canopies and additional turf on their sidelines. After this season, improvements continue on the spectator side. Fans will enjoy an improved experience through stadium seating under their own canopy. A spectator plaza will bring an event feel to the sidelines and will serve as a welcoming gathering spot for students during the school day. Note: spectator improvements are still being finalized, and the finished plaza and seating may differ from these renderings.

golf

Golf Practice: Pitching and Putting Green

Fore! Our boys and girls golf teams will appreciate having their very own spot on campus to practice pitching and putting, thanks to the generosity of an MICDS family. Located in the shadow of the Head of School residence just off Ladue Road, the new green means both teams can stay on campus to perfect their short game.

tennis
