Upper School Science Teacher Annie Knapp recently addressed students at an Upper School Assembly to share her “Why I Teach” story.
After she spoke of her unexpected path to her teaching career, she closed with inspirational advice for the students. “I’m here to tell you all that, whether you know it or not, the sequence of events in your life is leading you to something great. You may not see it now, and there may be times of hardship and trouble, but you’ll learn and grow from it. I’ve lived it, and I am so happy with my life, even though not everything went according to plan.”
