Third graders enjoyed an “Oregon Trail Picnic” earlier this spring as part of their study of Westward Expansion. They journeyed across the athletic fields with a covered wagon full of supplies to the picnic site. It was a fun and memorable way to imagine life on the trail for the pioneers.
