5th Graders Complete Simulated Space Mission

The 5th Grade Class put their STEM skills to good use at The Challenger Learning Center this week. They participated in a simulated space mission as astronauts, scientists, and engineers. Half of the students worked on board the spacecraft, while the other half took responsibility for Mission Control. Students also built and launched model rockets. The trip offered an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in science and math class to a real-world experience.
