Last weekend, our College Counseling Office put on the 2018 edition of “A View from the College Side.” The event included a panel of admissions officials, sessions covering the admission process and a Q & A.
The panelists for the event included Sacha Thieme Arterberry, Executive Director, Admissions, Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana; Ronne’ Turner, Vice Provost for Admission & Financial Aid, Washington University in St. Louis; Greg Zaiser, Vice President for Enrollment, Elon University, Elon, North Carolina; and Nate Crozier, Assistant Vice President, Undergraduate Admissions and Marketing, University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. Sessions included topics such as « The Role of the Essay, » « What Freshman and Sophomores Should Be Thinking About, » « The Role of Testing in the Admission Process, » « Advice for/The Role of Parents » and more.
