Reading, Writing, and Running Day

Activities Abound at Spring Fling, Field Day and More

The past week has been full of exciting activities for Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School students alike! With some spring days finally sneaking in to the weather pattern, students enjoyed many a game under the sunshine, complete with treats like Ted Drewes Frozen Custard. What a fun-filled week it was!

Lower School Reading, Writing, and Running Too!

Last week, the Lower School enjoyed mixing reading, writing, and running too in a special Beasley tradition. The Beasles were excited to show their parents some of their creative, literary and physical achievements. After a picnic lunch, students spent the afternoon sharing their original writing, favorite books, and they put on a parade during the Lower School Field Day in the McDonnell Athletic Center. Lots of fun had by all!

Middle School Spring Fling

Yesterday, Middle School students enjoyed Spring Fling for an activity-filled day. They tackled not one but two inflatable obstacle courses that had students climbing and sliding along with their classmates. Students played putt-putt golf, giant Jenga, and other yard games along with Frisbee, football tosses, and capture the flag. At first, some students weren’t sure what “Spring Fling” would be, but they ended the day looking forward to the next one!

Upper School Field Day

Competition and teamwork were fierce last Friday at the Upper School Field Day. It was the perfect day to be outside and Upper School students made some wonderful memories from creating human pyramids and playing giant Jenga to competing in burlap sack races and volleyball! It’s quite possible that they just might be ready for summer!

We’re looking forward to an activity and learning-filled final few weeks of the school year. If they’re anything like these active days, they are bound to be full of excitement!
