The MICDS Boys’ Varsity Golf Team claimed the championship trophy at both the district and sectional tournaments! In the district round, the team defeated St. Charles West and Clayton by 17 strokes. Sohil Desai ’13 was the 1st place individual, with Drew Lilly ’16, Blake Adamson ’14, George Hurley ’13 and Michael O’Keefe ’16 each finishing in the top 12. In the sectional round, the team defeated St. Charles West by 6 strokes and, in doing so, earned a berth in the state tournament on May 13 and 14 in Sedalia. O’Keefe, Lilly, Desai, and Adamson finished in the top 20 at sectionals. Congratulations! The boys are coached by Ron Holtman and Harry Weber ’60.
After-School Activities Canceled
Today, March 31
With strong storms in the forecast this afternoon, MICDS is canceling all after-school activities today, March 31. This includes all extracurricular activities and athletic practices and games, both at home and away. The Middle School ASAP program and Lower School Extended Day program are also canceled. Parents, please make arrangements to pick up your children at our usual dismissal time today (3 p.m. for Lower School, 3:15 p.m. for Middle and Upper School). Campus will be closed at 4 p.m.
