Seniors Keep It Casual for Senior Chill Day

Being a senior at MICDS can be stressful at times. Trying to balance academics, athletics, and extracurriculars while also making important decisions about college can be overwhelming. Adding the stress of the pandemic makes things even tougher!

This week, however, seniors were given a breather from all that stress during “Senior Chill Day,” an event organized by senior parents to give the students a chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy some food. Donning masks and practicing social distancing, seniors went through a line to grab specialty coffee drinks, donuts, and breakfast sandwiches—all provided by senior parents—and that was only breakfast! Students came through again midday for a lunch smorgasbord.

To up the chill factor, the students were also able to wear red or green plaid MICDS pajama pants for the day. So chill!
