After weeks, months, and years (thanks to the pandemic) of planning, MICDS’ inaugural Winter Term is finally here! The first few days of the two-week stretch kicked off on Wednesday as students convened after Winter Break to SLED into a smorgasSNOWboard of “classes” like never before. Students from our Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools are tackling a variety of nICE and unique courses, electives, internships, and global learning opportunities. They’re learning infant and child CPR in the Best Babysitter course, getting sorted into their houses for the Muggles of Messing class, mastering how to build a fire in Survival 101, interning for local fashion companies, and exploring the world over 8,000 miles away in South Africa. These learning experiences SNOWBALL into a successful first week of Winter Term!
