Sophie Paul ’18 is a first-place winner in the ASEE Diversity Essay and Video Contest. Her submission highlighted her passion for STEM, in particular, her work to develop the first all-female MICDS robotics team, Rampunzel. The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) sponsored the contest in celebration of its year-long focus on P-12 education. An excerpt of Sophie’s essay will be included in a PRISM article and published on the ASEE Diversity Essay Contest website. Congratulations, Sophie!
No Late Start for MS and US - Wednesday, February 1
In view of the lost instructional day Monday, the Middle and Upper Schools will run block schedules through the end of the week (C, D, E, and F rotations). This calendar change means that, except in the Lower School, we will NOT run a late-start Wednesday schedule on February 1. Lower School will still have a late start. Middle and Upper School classes will begin promptly at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1.
