Seven MICDS Field Hockey players were recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School National Academic Squad. The National Academic Squad program recognizes high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0. If players received a minimum GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 they are recognized as Scholars of Distinction.
Lou Chalfant ’18, Ally Landrum ’17, Katie O’Hara ’18, Peggy Rianhard ’17, Dotsy Ruwitch ’17, Addie Thomas ’18, and Claudia Williams ’17 all were recognized for this achievment. Lou, Katie, Peggy and Addie were recognized as Scholars of Distinction.
