Girls Tennis Takes District and Heads to State

Congrats to the MICDS Girls Tennis team on their recent wins at district matches. Also at the Visitation match, Stella Kreisel ’23 finished 3rd in singles, winning against teammate Bennett Baur ’25.

In the Class 3 District 2 Tournament, the Rams earned a district title against defending state champion, John Burroughs. In doubles, White and Baur were victorious, and in singles, the Rams gained wins from White and Kreisel which set the stage for Nwamu to clinch the matchup. Check out this match recap from the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Next up is the State competition in Columbia. Way to go, Rams!
