Upper School Hits the Field for Fun in the Sun

This week, Upper School students enjoyed a fresh and fun field day with hilarious games and heated competition. First, students were assigned a team color: blue, red, green, or yellow, and received coordinating sunglasses and bandanas to kick off the festivities. Then, they battled it out in a bracket-style competition of Tug-of-War, wheelbarrow races, an obstacle course, walking boards, sack races, and a game of Move the Ball. A hearty thanks to our Upper School Student Council leadership and committees for coordinating the games and to the members of our Honor Council for helping determine winners and settle disputes!

In the end, the Green Team was victorious with 108 points, and they will hold the Field Day Cup title and bragging rights until the spring of 2023. Head of Upper School Scott Small summed up the day, “Of all of the events that have served as a respite from the realities of the pandemic over the past couple of years…this one today felt very, very good.” Way to play, Rams!
