Upper School Holds 100th Prize Speaking Competition

The 100th Prize Speaking competition took place on the Brauer Auditorium stage on December 8. Three Upper School students gave spectacular performances. Prize Speaking is a school tradition that has its origins at St. Louis Country Day School.

Congratulations to our talented performers:
Leila Payer ’17, excerpt from Bossypants, a memoir by Tina Fey
Mary Moore ’18, “The Opposite of Loneliness” by Marina Keegan
Sofia Carr ’18, “In My Country,” a poem by Ana Castillo

A panel of faculty judges chose Mary Moore as this year’s winner. She will have her name engraved on the Dartmouth Cup.
