Junior Races to Performer of the Week Nomination

MileSplitMO runs a poll each week with five candidates nominated for the Performer of the Week in Track & Field. The poll highlights five athletes from around the state who did something amazing in the past week. For the week of April 13-18, Justyce Sanders ’27 was one of their five nominees and was voted to win this special distinction. They wrote, “Sanders picked up the win in the 400 meter dash at the Holmes/Warren Invitational, improving her state-leading time to 55.04 seconds. She also finished second in the 100 meter dash in a new all-conditions best of 11.92 (+3.0) and won the 200 in 24.80.”

Congratulations, Justyce!
