AP Art History Students Tour the St. Louis Art Museum

AP Art History students spent Saturday morning at the St. Louis Art Museum (SLAM) on September 9th. This was the last weekend for the special “Sunken Cities” Egypt exhibit, so they made a special September visit to SLAM. Students engaged deeply in the “Sunken Cities” exhibit, admiring a statue of Apis, the bull god of the Egyptians. They also had time to see other works in the museum, including a viewing of “Time Spy”, a 3-D animation by contemporary Chinese artist Sun Xun.
