Students perform in the Lip Dub

Lip Dub

Under the vision and leadership of Sebastian Neumann ’21, students participated in an exciting school-wide event at the end of April – a Lip Dub.

A Lip Dub is a video project in which singers are filmed (often in a continuous take) lip-syncing to popular music. In MICDS’ case, Upper School students and faculty rose to the occasion, lip-syncing the words to their songs all while dancing through Upper School facilities.

The video culminated in a shot at the MAC that included all divisions, led by Mrs. Lisa Lyle and Mr. Brian Thomas lip-syncing Kool & the Gang’s “Celebrate.”

Students and teachers enjoyed the morning activity and were excited to show off MICDS spirit.
